I want to welcome everyone to this new year 2022, the Lord has told me that this year is going to be our year of EXCEEDING MULTIPLICATION. The Lord has promised to make us experience positive multiplication in every area, every individual Trusting God for greater things should be expectant because this is your year.

Nevertheless, we must know these few things, whenever we want to cross a very busy road, and we are with our small children, we will put our hands into theirs with instruction if “hold me tightly”, while our little one grasp hold of our hand as much as they can.

The truth of the matter is that we never depend on their hold rather it’s our hold on them that keeps them secure and make our heart at peace. This is what Apostle Paul is saying in Philippians 3:12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me, or we say exactly that “Christ has a grip on me”

One thing is certain: it is not our grip on God that keep us safe, but the power of Jesus Christ grip on us, no one can take us away from His grasp - not even the devil or his cohorts, not even ourselves, once we are in His hands, He won’t let us go.

We always have this assurance in John 10:28-29 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

With the above assurance, we are double safe; one on the Father’s side and the other hand, on our Lord Jesus Christ side, and clasping on us is this viselike grip. I want to reiterate that these are the hands that make heaven and earth; these are the hands that shaped mountains and oceans and flung the stars into space.

We must note that nothing in this life or the next “shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”. Romans 8:39.

While we have these assurances, we must trust in Him and His words especially as we start this new year 2022, we must trust in His promises, having this conviction in us like Sarah “because she judged Him faithful who had promised.” Hebrew 11:11.
